Easter Half Term
LowestoftThere is so much going on over the Easter half term this year that you and kids are spoilt for choice. There really is something for every family, so whether you fancy some arts and crafts at the library or getting a little competitive bowling or maybe even meeting some unusual little furry friends at Africa Alive we have given you the lowdown on what's on in town!
Egg-citing Easter Trail
9am Thursday 18th April - Deadline 5pm Tuesday 23rd April
Lowestoft Vision has been up to no good with the Easter bunny and is making us work for our chocolate this year. Hidden in the shops of Lowestoft are 20 letters that when collected will make an Easter phrase. Collect all the letters and complete your entry forms with the phrase for a chance to win one of our three Easter prizes!

Mini Superheroes
Come and join in on Lowestoft Library minibeast event, your little ones are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite superhero or mini beast and take part in themed arts and crafts/activities.

Holiday Xtra
Lowestoft Library has a very special guest from the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Katy is dropping by for a session where you can learn all about the trust. Activities include Marsh Detective, Poo Power, Feely box and many others. This event is totally free and all are welcome to take part.

Everything you need to have a fun-filled family day out is here, with bowling, arcade games, soft play and a restaurant offering delicious meals, Richards Family EC is a great choice during half term
Lowestoft Museum Family Treasure Hunt

Family Treasure hunt at Lowestoft museum in Nicholas Everitt Park Oulton Broad. Locally sponsored by The Gift Shop and Sweet Obsession.
Pleasurewood Hills
Pleasurewood hills have opened for their 2019 season and just in time for Easter Holidays. Plan a trip with the family and experience the brand new ride EGG-SPRESS and when you need to refuel visit one of the many restaurants the park has available.

Fishy Family Fun
Wednesday 10th & 17th April
11am-3pm
Join Captain Crabble and his feline friend Admiral for maritime museum adventures with lots of hands-on opportunities. You can win the admiral’s stamp by answering his questions, follow the captain's treasure map to explore some of their fishy objects and take the fish and ship challenge quiz. During your visit, you can get crafty and make a maritime memento to take home. - Before you leave please help the captain find his cat - He has fallen asleep somewhere!
All activities are free with admission.
Adventure Island
Walk the plank to the secret island and race the zip glides! 3 levels of fun based around an exciting colourful pirate ship, complete with zoopa ball cannons, a magnificent astro slide and bouncy floor!
This is seriously great fun for all the family, open Monday - Sunday 10am - 6pm
Africa Alive
Welcome to Hogsnorts
Hog Snorts” is the brand new interactive habitat which opens on Saturday 6th April and will be home to some very unusual, and rather spectacular looking, Red River Hogs as well as a number of Sitatunga antelope. Visit Kinshasa and his new friends during half term and welcome them to the park. Africa Alive will also be holding a naming competition during April for them so be sure to keep an eye on their facebook for more details.
Sentinel Leisure Trust - Water Sports Centre
An exciting week is ahead at the Oulton Broad water centre this half term with plenty to keep the kids active and tire them out (hopefully) with many activities from Canoeing, water rafting, Kayaking and sailing they will be captains of their own boats before you know it!
