Prepare yourselves for a bigger, scarier, and more thrilling Halloween celebration than ever before in Lowestoft! What started as a single-day event, Spooky Saturday, this year has transformed into a full week of hauntingly good fun for all ages, thanks to the funding support from East Suffolk Council. From Saturday, 26th October to Friday, 1st November, Lowestoft Town Centre will become a hub of spooky entertainment, making this the perfect place to visit for the whole family.
The Halloween-themed festivities promises to bring seven days packed with ghostly attractions, exciting activities, and eerie spectacles. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or looking for a more family-friendly way to embrace the Halloween spirit, there’s something for everyone.
A Whole Week of Activities:
The festivities kick off with Spooky Saturday on October 26th, where the fun begins with the Pumpkin Trail at 10am, followed by a silent disco, creepy creatures, and a fancy dress competition. Be sure to visit the Witches Coven and browse the craft stalls at Triangle Market, setting the tone for a week of frightful fun.

- Saturday, 26th October - Spooky Saturday:
The fun begins with Spooky Saturday on 26th October! Start your Halloween adventure with the Pumpkin Trail at 10am, and enjoy the Silent Disco that will keep the spooky vibes alive. Don’t forget to check out Angie’s Curious Creatures, where you can meet all kinds of creepy crawlies. Plus, head over to the Witches Coven at Dunx Cycles for a spellbinding experience!
For those who love a bit of competition, dress to impress for the Fancy Dress Competition, showcasing your most ghoulish costumes at Dunx Cycles between 10am and 2pm. Meanwhile, at Triangle Market, you can explore craft stalls and eerie tunes that will get you in the Halloween spirit.
- Sunday, 27th October: Just Josh Magic Shows will bring wonder to the streets of Lowestoft from 12noon to 3pm, leaving crowds dazzled with spellbinding tricks.
- Monday, 28th October: Due to wind forecasts, the Rodeo Bull has unfortunately been cancelled.
But don’t worry – the fun continues! In the Britten Centre, we’re thrilled to welcome Faye Phillips Sings, performing hits from all eras. Want to take the stage? Come down, grab the mic, and show us your singing skills! See you there for a day full of music and good vibes!
- Tuesday, 29th October: A futuristic twist awaits with the Time Machine Experience—step in, take a picture, and imagine the unknown at the Britten Centre from 12noon - 3pm.
- Wednesday, 30th October: Get ready for a UV Puppet Spectacular, with two shows that will light up the day at the Marina Theatre. Get your tickets here.
- Thursday, 31st October: The Rodeo Bull will be in the Town Centre and FREE to ride with spooky prizes for the winner!
Join the Halloween Silent Disco in the town centre between 12noon & 3pm! Wear your creepiest costume for a spine-chilling fancy dress competition, where the scariest and most creative looks win terrifying prizes.
- Friday, 1st November: End the week by facing your fears with Angie’s Creepy Creatures from 12noon to 3pm.
