Lowestoft: the new jewel in Suffolk’s coastal crown

Multi award winning designer Wayne Hemingway MBE, of Hemingway Design, has long been calling for local businesses and communities to work together to rejuvenate Lowestoft’s seafront and enliven the town’s leisure and tourist attractions. In 2019, Wayne was instrumental in the launch the First Light Festival, the 24-hour event celebrating midsummer that now takes place every year on Lowestoft’s South Beach.

Recently Wayne spoke with BBC Radio Suffolk’s Sarah Lilley about his work in Lowestoft, after coming across a disappointing article about our wonderful seaside town.
