Our annual halloween trail is back!!! Once again be hosting Spooky Saturday on 29 October to celebrate Halloween.

Taking place from 10am to 4pm, families of all ages will be invited to dress up and join in with a packed programme of thrilling activities throughout Lowestoft’s town centre, The Historic High Street and beyond, and take part in the annual pumpkin trail hosted by businesses in the town.

Our event will include appearances from devilish characters including a giant raptor, friendly zombies and ghosts, and movie characters Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Groot.  A virtual reality ride will provide even more thrills, as families visit the town to discover the pumpkins hidden in local shops and businesses.

Children are encouraged to don their spookiest fancy dress to discover thirty pumpkinshidden in the town to be rewarded with sweets and treats provided by local shops and businesses.  

See devilish characters including stilt walkers, movie characters, a giant raptor, friendly zombies and ghosts at:

10am Triangle market
12pm London Road North (outside Starbucks)
2pm Station Square

You can also visit the VR Bar to experience virtual reality, sitauted outside the Britten Centre.

As well as our ghostly happenings there are other spooky goings-on aroufn the town

Dunx Cycles are opening the Witches Coven to all at 10.00am till around 2pm. Any children in fancy dress who dare to enter the coven will be "tried" by our Witches, where they can expect to receive a "Trick" or maybe a "Treat" if they have been good. There is also a fancy dress competition, where photos will be taken, and the best 20 pictures will appear in our window in the week. Children in the pictures who make themselves known to us will get a prize. The supreme winner will get properly treated!

Fosters are going all spooky for halloween and  having a colouring competition and lucky dip with lots of prizes.

Waterstones bookshop hosts a sold-out scary ghost walk through the town on 30 October, with all proceeds going to a local charity.

The Triangle is having a Halloween Market.

East Point Pavilion hosting a pumpkin decorating workshop for all the family from 1pm to 4pm, followed by a showing of the family favourite Ghostbusters at 6pm.

East Anglian Transport Museum - Halloween even & free witch hunt for the children with a prize for every child.

Claremont Pier - Twisted Circus, the biggest halloween party on the east coast!
