A huge transformation project has been begun for The Ness, the most Easterly Park in the UK. The park is now in the process of becoming a landmark destination.

The new £1m park, next to Birds Eye, plans to showcase Lowestoft’s maritime heritage, feature a picnic and play area, bespoke bridge to the sea wall, interactive and educational information.

The project plans to secure the future of the net drying racks used by the fishing industry but also improve the access, knowledge, participation and overall enjoyment of North Lowestoft.

We are very excited to see the park develop and look forward to visiting once finished.

The park is expected to be unveiled by early summer!
