Lowestoft Jobcentre provides combined job search and benefits service for people of working age. We can provide tailored guidance for job seekers, including CV and interview support, access to training, and regular recruitment events connecting people with local opportunities.
For businesses, a local team of Employer Advisers is available at the Jobcentre, who provide a no cost and tailored recruitment service along with in work and redundancy support, for example:
- recruitment advice, promotion and delivery – candidate matching and accelerating process,
- develop Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs) at pace – short practical courses bespoke your recruitment needs,
- help set up Work Trials to ensure the job is right for the employer and potential employee,
- advise and link with experts to highlight how Work Experience, Skills Bootcamps and Apprenticeshipscan strengthen your business,
- support if you employ or are considering employing someone with a disabilityor health barrier, including insight into the Disability Confident Scheme, Access to Work and Health Adjustment Passport.
