Lowestoft based business 3DGT is running a series of affordable Intro to 3D Printing workshops designed for complete beginners.
Whether you want to create replacement parts, print components for your hobby or make personalised gifts, this hands on session will show you how to get started with confidence.
During the workshop you’ll learn:
• How 3D printing software works
• The key settings needed for a successful print
• How to analyse previews before printing
• File types and project management
• How to get the crucial first layer right
• Choosing the best materials for your project
• Troubleshooting common problems and basic maintenance
You don’t need to bring any equipment. Each participant will have access to a laptop and a 3D printer, and you’ll even be able to print an item to take home.
