Following the closure of their company shop on Whapload Road, Birds Eye generously donated remaining frozen stock to support those in need within the local community.
Thanks to the swift action of Sue Medley, Senior Community Help Hub Officer at East Suffolk Council, and her team, the food was collected and distributed to local food pantries. This ensures the donation reaches families who need it most.
Sue commented, “Thank you again for this donation… it has been distributed across our local food pantries and will go to families in need.”
Nicola Sharpe, Regional Sourcing Unit HR Manager at Birds Eye, added, “We’re really pleased Birdseye can support the local community in this way.”
A wonderful example of partnership working and community support.
