Join these When Lowestoft Rocked Music & Media Workshops and learn how to turn your ideas into a complete creative project – from song writing and filming to artwork and promotion.
The workshops are FREE and are available for people aged 14–19.
Over the four sessions, you will:
- Write and develop an original song as a group
- Plan and storyboard a music video for your group song
- Film and produce your own music video
- Edit and complete post-production to create a polished final piece
- Design album artwork and promotional posters
The free workshops will take place at East Coast College Lowestoft Campus on the following dates. All sessions run from 10am-4pm:
- 30th July
- 6th August
- 13th August
- 20th August
Please note that each session will cover a different skill/topic, so to get the best experience please only sign up if you can attend all or most of the workshops.
Your finished music video will be showcased at the Sunrise Film Festival and featured in the first exhibition at the Lowestoft Town Hall in 2027.
