Royal Navy Patrol Service Museum

During World War Two the Royal Naval Patrol Service (RNPS) played an important role in protecting the country from invasion. Lowestoft was a base for the RNPS with many of the town’s fisherman involved with military operations.

Located in the peaceful Sparrows Nest Gardens the museum collection is based on the activities of the RNPSD during World War II. Visitors can experience a trip to the past with the memorabilia, photographs, check records and research family member’s service.
