- Drinks & Refreshments: Pop on over to the bar in the East Point Pavilion and treat yourself to a wide range of soft or alcoholic drinks.
- Best Picnic Blanket Competition: Show off your creative side by decorating your picnic blanket. The most creatively themed blanket will win a prize!
About the Movie:
In the summer of 1963, innocent 17-year-old Baby vacations with her parents at a Catskill’s resort. One evening she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny, the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby soon becomes Johnny’s pupil in dance and love.
What to Bring:
- Blankets or low-back chairs for comfortable seating, a limited amount of picnic benches are within the Beer Garden but we recommend bringing your own seats.
- Warm clothing as the evening may get chilly.

Important Information:
- Blankets, cushions and small picnic chairs are allowed.
- Rain ponchos will be available to purchase at the event.
- East Point Pavilion will be providing alcoholic drinks, snacks, soft drinks and popcorn will be available.
- The outdoor cinemas screenings are a glass free event, and glass bottles or glasses should be brought onto the site.
- Doors will open 30 minutes before the time stated on your tickets.
- Please don’t bring large bags or lots of stuff with you, as there’s no cloakroom available.
- Come in up to 15 minutes after the advertised start time. Staff members are there to help you find an available seat. If you arrive late, you’ll be missing the film – we’re punctual!
- You’re more than welcome to take pictures of the screening area until the film begins, but after that, please don’t take photo or video once the film has started – the same piracy rules apply as they would for an indoor cinema. Also, please respect the privacy of our residents and your fellow audience members.
Finding the Beer Garden at East Point Pavilion:
Just look for the East Pavilion on Lowestoft seafront which is situated in-front of the Royal Green car park and you will find the beer garden adjacent to the seafront pavilion.
Parking is available on-site, the nearest car park adjacent to the East Point Pavilion is Royal Green and parking is free after 6pm.
