Event Details

Low Freq — the vibrant early-night club event from First Light Festival CIC — will take place this Saturday 29 November 2025, from 19:00 to 22:30, at The Battery, 119 London Road North, Lowestoft. The perfect way to kick off your festive celebrations!

Low Freq delivers a fresh spin on the nightlife scene: “Party Early, Sleep Happy.” Perfect for those who want the full club experience without staying out until sunrise, the event invites guests to dance hard, wrap up before midnight, and wake up fresh the next day.

Expect a genre-bending musical line-up of female DJs:

Tallulah Goodtimes, Issy B and Miss Dixie will spin a rich mix of swing, jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop-infused electronica, nu-disco and house.

Amplifying the experience, live VJ Michelle Brace’s visuals will provide an immersive audio-visual feast for mind, body and soul.

Hosted at The Battery on Lowestoft’s High Street, the event opens a licensed bar (serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) from 18:30 to set the mood early. Guests are encouraged to bring their faux-fur or fiercest coat — the venue is “cool in every sense.”

Meet the DJs:

Tallulah Goodtimes
Purveyor of goodtimes, from global to local events, Tallulah has DJ’d all over the world, headlining her own shows and supporting some of the world’s greatest DJs and performers. Best known for her work in electro swing, her sound is rooted in electronic music – house, breaks and beyond. Fat beats and bass, joy-filled live instrumentation, and detailed production are what set her alight. She plays to create a place to forget your cares and get lost in the dance.

Issy B
Hot off the heels from supporting Robert Owen’s at Snape Maltings, Issy B is back on the decks to play a thought-provoking set winding its way through fresh house tunes, disco & global beats. Connecting people together using music & movement is her ultimate aim.

Miss Dixie
A favourite at events across the UK, progressive and funky House with an element of Nu-Disco is at the heart of Miss Dixie’s sets. Emotive, bouncy, and fun, digging for ‘hard to find’ treasures then witnessing the listener’s reaction to those tunes is priceless to her.
