Santa Run at Africa Alive: Fancy Dress 1.5KM Fun Run at the Zoo!
Join us for some festive fun at Africa Alive’s brand-new Santa Run on Sunday, December 21st! This merry event is perfect for families, friends, and runners of all ages and abilities, bringing together everyone in the spirit of giving and festive cheer.
Date and Time:
Event Date: Sunday, December 21st
Arrival: 8:45am – 9:15am
Race Start Time: 9:30am
Distance: Just under 1.5 km, an ideal distance for little legs!
Course: One easy lap around the zoo on flat, wide, concrete paths. Run past our past hogs, lions, rhinos, savannah, lemur islands, giraffes and more!
Capacity: Limited to 500 runners, so be sure to register early!
Timing: This is a relaxed, non-timed event for all.
Participants: Open to all ages and abilities, and walkers are warmly encouraged.
Festive Dress: Festive costumes are highly encouraged, with prizes for top fundraisers and best Christmas costumes!

Cost: £15 per participant, which includes full-day admission to the zoo, Infants (2 & under only £2!)
Spectators Pass: £15

Medal: A commemorative medal for each participant.
Return Ticket: A Christmas gift from us to you – a return ticket for every child participant valid until March 2026.
Cheer Squad: Reggie the Lion will be there to cheer you across the finish line!
