Sunrise Film Festival is the UK’s largest celebration of diverse stories and underrepresented filmmakers, a BIFA-qualifying festival held annually in Lowestoft.

Sunrise Film Festival was founded in 2021 and is a British Independent Film Awards qualifying competition. The festival champions the next generation of diverse filmmaking and celebrates underrepresented storytelling, from homegrown talent and first-time directors to the more familiar faces from the world of film and television.
