Barclays Lowestoft Introduces Daily Quiet Hour to Support Neurodiverse Customers
Barclays Lowestoft is proud to be introducing a new initiative aimed at creating a more inclusive and accessible experience for all customers. From 7 July, the branch will begin hosting a daily Quiet Hour between 9:30am and 10:30am.
The Quiet Hour is designed to support neurodiverse individuals by providing a calmer, more comfortable banking environment. During this time, the team will dim the lights, switch off the televisions, and silence in-branch machines to help reduce sensory overload and promote a peaceful atmosphere.
This initiative reflects Barclays’ wider commitment to accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that all customers feel welcome and supported. Whether you’re visiting for advice, support, or everyday banking, the team at Barclays Lowestoft is on hand to help in a way that suits your needs.
If you or someone you know would benefit from a quieter experience when visiting the branch, you’re encouraged to come in during Quiet Hour and speak to the team about the ways they can support you.
Barclays believes in banking that works for everyone – and this is just one step towards making that vision a reality.
