Heritage Open Days Are Back

Lowestoft

Celebrate our fantastic town as part of Heritage Open Days and learn more about the history of Lowestoft this September.

With over 100 events over 10 days, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Heritage Open Days, from Ness Point to Pakefield, everywhere in between and beyond.

Soak up the local culture at our local art galleries, take in the history of the town on the historical walks, or go on a tour of the local theatre or football club and see some of the areas normally not open to the public.

Events are being held across the churches of Lowestoft too, classical music performances, Harvest Festivals and special services based around the history of the local area.

There are also going to be plenty of chances for some local food! The Herring and Ale festival will have something for everyone, music, food and drink and historical walks. The Triangle Market will be holding an Edible England Market offering produce and goods from all over Suffolk and Norfolk.

These and many more events planned, make sure not to miss out on any! Have a look at all that’s happening here
