Dashing Through the Zoo: Join Africa Alive’s Festive Fundraising Santa Run for all!
Fancy having some festive fun at the zoo this Christmas? Why not join us on Sunday the 22nd of December with an 8:45 am start, for our brand-new fundraising extravaganza the Santa run around Africa Alive!
Walk it, run it, skip it, or stroll it, dress up in Santa or Christmas fancy dress, and have some family fun! The route is one lap of the zoo (1.5km) on flat pathways, so this fundraiser is perfect for little legs and adults.
This untimed run is a fantastic way for everyone to get into the Christmas spirit and fundraise for your favourite local Zoo to support a conservation mission.
On the route around the zoo, you can see meerkats, giraffes, zebra, and many more wild animals. If that wasn’t enough, enjoy a day’s entry after the Santa Run, all included in the ticket price.
Reggie the Lion will be there to cheer you on across the finish line and celebrate with you as you receive a medal, all included in the ticket price. After the run, warm up with a wintery gourmet hot chocolate and fill up on bacon rolls. Vegan and vegetarian options will also be available.
This isn’t a spectator’s sport all booked tickets will have the option to participate in the Santa run, with all money raised going directly towards the care of our beloved animals. As a Christmas gift from us to you we will be giving away free return tickets to visit Africa Alive valid until March 2025.

Tickets are £15 per person 3+ including spectators and £10 for 2’s and under. Tickets must be purchased online and shown at the gate for entry on the day. Book tickets now to take part in this festive fun Santa run and help us save animals!
