This summer, Lowestoft is playing host to an epic challenge — and we need YOU to help track down 20 fluffy hares that have hidden themselves all over town!
These cheeky creatures are hiding in shop windows, local businesses, and secret corners in and around the town. Can you find them all? Grab your trail leaflet and start the hunt — it's your chance to explore Lowestoft town centre like never before!

The Challenge: How to Join in the fun

Are you up for the challenge? Grab your trail leaflet from local shops, the library, or download it here and set off to find all 20 fluffy hares hiding in plain sight! Each hare has a name, and your mission is to track down each one. Some hares will be easy to spot, while others are masters of disguise — this is no walk in the park!

Stay sharp, and if you spot a hare that’s particularly cute or funny, take a selfie with it! Don’t forget to tag us using #SummerTrail — we want to see your hare-hunting skills in action!

Hop, Spot & Win!

The adventure doesn’t stop when you find all 20 hares! Once you’ve completed the trail, head over to Lowestoft Library and hand in your completed leaflet. Not only will you receive an exclusive Summer Trail certificate, but thanks to Leaders, you’ll also get an activity sheet and colouring pencils to keep the fun going! You’ll also be entered into the prize draw for the chance to WIN one of the fluffy hares you’ve been hunting for!

The Discover Lowestoft Summer Trail isn’t just about having fun — it’s also about supporting St Elizabeth Hospice and their Hop to It Suffolk 2025 trail. This amazing event raises vital funds to support people in Suffolk with life-limiting conditions, helping them live life as fully as possible. So every fluffy hare you find and every entry you submit is part of something much bigger — a community effort to make a real difference. Hop to it and join the cause!

*Closing date 02.09.25 4pm. All completed entries to be handed into Lowestoft Library. Entrants under 18 yrs must include the name and contact details of parent/guardian. Entry is restricted to one entry per person, any duplicate entries will be excluded. *Certificates and prizes are subject to availability.
